We would like to encourage you to come to Letcher County Adult Education. Whether you want to work to earning your GED, boosting your skills to get ready for college or work, or learn to read, we hope you are excited about and committed to achieving your goal.

We are offering four different options to help you study.


Option 1: Register for and attend our next set of day classes which begin Monday, March 1. Classes run six weeks and are scheduled for Monday through Thursday. These classes provide you with instruction targeted to help you achieve your goals. Classes offered include math, reading, language, writing, social studies, and science. *NOTE: You must complete orientation and testing before March 1 to enroll in day classes.

Option 2: Register for and attend our next set of night classes which begin Monday, March 1. The night class runs six weeks and students meet every Monday and Thursday night from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m... These classes also provide targeted instruction. *NOTE: You must complete orientation and testing before March 1 to enroll in night classes.

Option 3: Attend Learning Lab at the center each week. During learning lab hours, you can receive one-on-one instruction. Learning lab hours are as follows: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1:30-4 PM and Tuesdays from 3-4 PM.

Option 4: Study via the Internet using one of our free online programs. Once you complete orientation and initial testing, we can give you online assignments which you can complete 24/7 wherever you have a good Internet connection (DSL or cable). Your online assignments are tailored to your individual learning needs.
